Margaret Mahy Playground is my favourite place.

The first things I see are the big silver slide, the blue twisty slide and the green hill with the climbing wall.

The hot silver slide burns on my leg as I slide down.

The screams of laughter from the children scattered across the playground are like monkeys in the jungle.

The mini donuts from the donut van smell of sugar and cinnamon. Mmmmm delicious.

When I go with my friends I squeal down the slide with excitement.

I feel happy when I go to that playground.
